  中新网北京4月4日电 (记者 应妮)《弘扬科学家精神——中国著名科学家的实践与思考》日前在京首发。该书由中国科学院科技创新发展中心组织编写,由人民出版社出版,“学习强国”学习平台为特约媒体支持单位。

  中国科学院科技创新发展中心党委书记、主任聂常虹,中宣部宣传舆情研究中心党委委员、“学习强国”学习平台副总经理杜大力,人民出版社副总编辑陈鹏鸣,该书主编马扬等出席本次活动,共同为新书揭幕。

  作为国家科研机构弘扬科学家精神实践的阶段性成果,《弘扬科学家精神——中国著名科学家的实践与思考》汇集了我国部分著名科学家有关科学家精神的自述、演讲、书信、报告等文章41篇,由爱国、创新、求实、奉献、协同、育人等6个篇章组成。作者当中有新中国科技事业的开创者、主要学科的奠基人和在某一学科领域作出重大贡献的科学家,有“两弹一星功勋奖章”、国家最高科技奖、“共和国勋章”获得者以及“时代楷模”“人民科学家”荣誉称号获得者等。

  该书的开篇是数学家华罗庚1950年2月在回国途中写的《致中国全体留美学生的公开信》,全篇充满着强烈的爱国之情、炽热的报国之心;钱学森1955年冲破重重阻挠由美国回到祖国,该书选入了他在1956年2月和9月写给郭永怀的两封信,朴实而又真挚的情感跃然纸上;杂交水稻育种专家袁隆平、地质学家杨钟健、水利专家严恺满怀深情地表达了他们的爱党、报国之情;“两弹一星”元勋程开甲、于敏、黄纬禄、屠守锷、杨嘉墀、陈能宽等著名科学家回顾了他们肩负特殊使命,献身“两弹一星”事业的非凡历程;吴文俊、黄昆、邹承鲁、王选、王大珩、师昌绪、曾庆存等著名科学家从不同角度深刻阐述了他们的治学理念、科研方法以及对科学精神的理解;严济慈、贝时璋、应崇福三位著名科学家回顾了他们走上科学道路并为之奋斗的历程;钱三强回忆了在居里实验室工作的难忘岁月;周光召、李惕碚、叶笃正追忆了他们心中前辈科学家的精神风范和科学品格。

  该书插图由中国美术家协会理事李世刚、会员李世东两位画家完成,为读者呈现了这些著名科学家的生动真实形象。

  发布会上,与会人员还围绕推动科学家精神进校园,以科学家精神铸魂育人、促进高水平科技自立自强等进行了研讨。(完)
